WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTER

You Deserve Honest Guidance, Not to Be Talked Down To

No attitude. No jargon. No making you feel like you don't belong.

"We work with a significant number of women for their firearm purchase."

It's not an accident. Word travels. Women tell other women where they've been treated like adults capable of making serious decisions.

For women who've spent years being interrupted, dismissed, or handed a pink revolver without being asked a single question, that consistency is what stands out. Our approach with every customer is the same: listen first, ask questions, and only then talk about specific firearms.

If Any of These Sound Like You, You're in the Right Place

You walked into a gun store and felt invisible.

You were handed a small pink handgun without being asked anything about you.

You want protection, but you've never been taken seriously when you ask questions.

You're tired of being told "a shotgun is all you really need."

You want to make this decision yourself, not have it made for you.

What to Expect

When you reach out, the first conversation is just a conversation. We'll ask about your situation: your home, your concerns, your experience level, your goals. We won't make assumptions about what you want.

When you come in to look at firearms, you'll handle several. You'll compare grip sizes, weights, and trigger pulls. We explain trade-offs without jargon. If something doesn't fit your hand, that firearm is off the table. Full stop.

You leave when you're ready. With a firearm, or without one. Either is fine.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions Women Often Ask

Will I be talked down to?

Absolutely not. We treat every customer with the same patience and respect, and we are especially aware of the dismissive treatment women often receive elsewhere. If a question needs an answer, it gets a real one, not a shrug.

Do I need to bring a man with me?

No. Come alone, come with a friend, come with whoever you'd like. This is your decision and your conversation. Nobody else needs to translate it.

What if I don't know what I want?

We will engage in a conversation with you about what may fit you better and around the reason for your firearm purchase without making any assumptions first.

Will you assume I want a small caliber?

No. We ask about your hand strength, your experience, and your intended use before recommending anything.

Can I take my time?

Please do. There's no rush, no pressure, and no expectation you'll buy anything on your first visit.

What if I have safety concerns at home?

We take these conversations seriously and walk you through storage, quick-access options, and training considerations, privately and without judgment.

"The women who come to me are some of the most serious and thoughtful customers I work with. My job is to make sure the information matches that seriousness."
